James Toseland
Frontman/keyboard
Since his forced retirement from racing, James has pursued a full-time rock career with an all-consuming passion that has seen him collaborating with Little Angels legend Toby Jepson to write an album packed with hard rock and power ballads. He’s used the grit, determination and will to succeed that made him a double world champion to focus on pursuing his first passion in life: music. James, who honed his keyboard skills playing live gigs around the country at venues of varying sizes, fronts Toseland with vocals and keys.
Zurab Melua

When Zurab Melua was introduced to bands like Judas Priest and AC/DC he instantly fell in love with the hard rock sound. He picked up the electric guitar at the age of 14 and practised relentlessly, developing a hard-hitting rhythm and piercing lead style while attending various music performance schools in the UK. Zurab’s true calling is on the stage and, as part of Toseland, he delivers a furious and tight, live heavy rock show with absolutely no energy spared.
Dave Hollingworth
Bass guitarist
The thunderous low end of the band is driven by Dave Hollingworth. Brought up around music, Dave was exposed to a lot of classic and experimental rock, which laid the foundation of his unique, aggressive style. Dave has dedicated the last decade of his life to playing bass, which has seen him record on several releases and tour in bands all over the continent including with Toseland bandmates Rabea and Ben in four-piece band Dorje. When he’s not rocking out on stage, Dave's other passion in life is music production.
Rabea Massaad

Rabea was consumed by music from a very early age. Having had years of experience playing, songwriting and recording with many bands, including working closely with Dave Hollingworth and Ben Minal in Dorje, Rabea brings power and precision to Toseland.
From playing drums, bass and other instruments, the afro haired musician has adopted a strong sense of musical awareness when songwriting and performing, and always delivers the goods for Toseland.
