Fled The Southwest is a metal band from Joplin, MO that started in June of 2012. Originating as a local band known as One Shall Betray, the band sought out a new style, a new sound, and a new live performance to bring to the stage. After picking up a new drummer and bassist, the band went straight to writing. Over the course of the Summer, the band had written a solid set list and recorded a single through Zombielife Recording Studio and were ready to start playing shows again. The band's single, "Heartbreaker," was released on September 11th of 2012 and received huge amounts of positive feedback. Three days later on the 14th, Fled The Southwest had their "coming back show," with other great bands, a great turn out, and a great way to kick things off. Fled The Southwest is still writing and playing shows and they don't plan on stopping anytime soon. They have a very fun and energetic live show with the music to match. The band looks to write great music, have an equally impressive live performance, and to please all of the people who continue to follow and support.
