I guess it’s my time to be lonely

I guess it is my time to cry

While you go on your way without me

Arm in arm with some other guy

I guess I gave you good reason to leave

And you found no just cause to stay

So all I can do’s sit and grieve

And watch as you walk away

I do not know now how I got it so wrong from the start

Every day that I thought I was close to you were closer to breaking my heart

Nothing is mine but the sorrow

The unbridled passion of sighs

From a hear thta fears tomorrow

and can’t live with your goodbye

I lay in the dark contemplating

Every word that you ever said

With a wound in my heart that still aching I chase the ghost round my head

I guessit’s my time lonely

And yes guess it is my time to cry

While you go on your way without me

And the sky heaves and cracks as the heavens roll back and the cruel gods spit fate in my eye

And the deafening roar is all those fooled before their pitiable pleading and cries

There in the dark the promethean spark lights the fire for those that are damned

Those who believed and were easy deceived will be thrown to the flame and there fanned

And my dark tears blacken the sky

And the dark skies clouds blacken my eyes
