In the twilight of the night, Israel moved ahead,

God's care, a beacon, guiding near and far,

His eternal faithfulness, shines like a star.

In the desert's test, with hunger and thirst,

From heaven's grace, the manna burst.

The struck rock poured out, water so clear,

The Lord's provision, always near.
