For I know

From the love of my Lord

The fears we have today

Or worries for tomorrow

For all the angels

Speed it on its way

And the powers of hell itself

Cannot keep it away

Oh it makes no difference

If I'm on the mountain top

Or at the ocean's sands

For the Lord has made it all

And all is in His hands

And I know

That nothing can keep me

From the love of my Lord

I will be the redwood tree

That reaches through the sun

Giving strength for each new day's

Work that must be done

And I will be the fire that burns

And shines upon the way

That warms a heart when it is lonely

Turns the night to day

And I will be the living stream

That flows from shore to shore

Leading thirsty, hungry men

To life forevermore

And I know

That nothing can keep me from

The love of my Lord
