February 14th has never felt so happy

As I sit and watch people run for their hearts

My mind is left on paper

As I stare and watch the waiters

Serve dinner for two as the room goes dark

Your face is in my locket I’ve been hiding in my pocket

Cause I’m too afraid to tell you just what I think

Our flowers have been dying

Our candles aren’t lit

And there's a void filling up the space where you should sit

I’m writing love letter to the ones that I miss

The ones that I want but could never take the risk

I know I should be moving on but this is how I cope

The words are all scrambled

The ink is bleeding through

I’m pacing my apartment

I’m lying on the floor

Your arms are full of roses

A smiles on your face

And your staring like I’m and angels fallen from grace

You tell me that you need me

But I space out and look around and realize your not there
