Prime Numbers welcomes newcomer Nick Sinna for release number 13 on the imprint. Hailing from Manchester and long time friend of label boss Trus'me, Nick has been best known for his deep, melodic DJ sets. Showcasing his hypnotic style, as well as a broad spectrum of influences, this 4 track EP is a heavy hitter from start to finish. Jumping into it with a nod to the past, Voyager will have you traversing down a boundless wormhole with its acidy groove. Big room sirens and lumbering snaps drive through the EP's B side on Kick The Habit. Record two, Nick shows us his softer side with blissed out 9 am anthem Momentary, while Real Time completes the EP on a dark and entrancing note. Nick's brain as he likes to say, is the Akai MPC60 which is used to program both his drum machines and keyboards to bring depth and life to the tracks, while Prime Numbers veteran Linkwood lends his magic touch on the mixing and premastering. The set is complemented by two killer remixes. Conforce and Spectral's secret weapon, JTC ( aka Dabrye ) add their touch. Conforce takes Sinna's Real Time further down the worm hole, adding molten pressure to the percussion, and cutting up & reinforcing the vocal samples. While the acid warrior himself, JTC stays true to his roots on his rework of Voyager, taking the edge off the snap and slicking the groove down to a more deep, melodic trip. PN13 has already received diverse support by the likes of Ben Klock, Marcel Dettman, DVS1 and Mr. Scruff.
