Jay Vado is one of the leaders of the new wave of R & B/ soul/pop.
Born to a Venezuelan father and a Lebanese mother, Jay Vado began his musical aspirations early with a dynamic mix of cultures and influences. His ethnicity plays a big role in his life discovering his path to stardom.
Since seeing his first shows, Jay Vado has been performing at every opportunity he could from local talent shows or his own concerts, his sister- now a choreographer, helped him pave the way for his uncanny ability to impress crowds of many genres. Jay started singing at age five and began writing songs at the age of 13. His charm, good looks, hard work and charisma have become a trademark for the artist he has become today.
Jay has had a productive year, playing shows across the country with artists such as Lloyd and Trey Songz (Atlantic) and many more to come.
Recently Jay has been recently getting rotation on Much Music/ Much Vibe for his latest video " Breathe and Shake" Directed by Cazhhmere D and The Ne Inc. Prior to that song was his memorable Feature on Harvey's Stripes hit "Material Girl" of which will still be a classic in the years to come. Jay has been busy in the studio prepping for his first album, set to drop in the second half of 2012 and has already begun to release new singles in different languages.
His new French song "Lendemain" is steadily gaining a huge buzz around the country and abroad.

His lyrics speak of his past experiences and his trials and tribulations of love and happiness. His creativity is undeniably a force to be reckoned with and will definitely be a major part in the future of music.
