It was at the age of five that Italian-born musician and composer, Luca Masini started tinkling on the piano, which later lead him to discover the drums when he hit his adolescent years. 
Masini has been studying music for as long as he can recall, and began composing in 1995. Just a year ago he began experimenting in cinematic scoring, which fiercely embodies his resonance and relationship with sound. 
Classical music has played a central role in Masini’s life, and he attributes his love and understanding of music to his obsession with classical from when he was only a child. With a deep love for Chopin, Masini claims this is his main inspiration of all time. Electro and jazz music are also another two very essential genres which make up the platform of Masini’s musical style. 
He started his successful Italian-based band ‘Too Young To Love’ in 2008, and plays a significant role in the writing and composing process. 
TYTL have made quite a name for themselves across Europe playing alongside bands such as Caribou, Hurts,The Big Pink, Late of The Pier, These New Puritans, Kap Bambino, The Teenagers, Yacht, Cold Cave and playing european festivals like Isle of Wight, Exit, Offset, Kendal Calling, Ypsigrock, Stuck, In the City.. 
March 2009 saw TYTL form a partnership with Emi music publishing, since then the Italian mob have gained love from strong press partners such as Vogue, Rolling Stone, Dazed and Confused, Max, i-D, Artrocker, Converse Music, RockFeedback, La Repubblica. 
Together with TYTL Luca Masini realized the soundtracks for the avanguardia fashion designer Komakino. 
Outside music, Masini has graduated from his degree in business, and he’s deeply interested in philosophy. 
Masini openly is influenced by the world around him; nature, noises, landscapes, moments, all contribute to his creative projects. He simply feeds off life’s little instances. It’s no surprise he also writes poetry which inspires his instrumental compositions.
