Dav and Johnny Julca publicly known as The Julca Brothers are a duo of Artist/Songwriter/Producers based in Miami Beach, Florida. They have produced or co-written songs for some of the biggest Latin acts like Paulina Rubio, Pitbull, Jencarlos Canela, Christian Pagán, Kat Dahlia, David Bisbal, Beto Cuevas, along with others.
Among many of their achievements, they have produced Jencarlos Canela’s recent summer hit single, “I Love It” which besides having more than a million views on YouTube, it won “Canción del Verano de Premios Juventud 2013” where they also performed at the event. They produced Christian Pagan’s album “Más De Lo Que Soy” (2012) which debuted at the top of the Latin Pop Albums Chart and it’s first single “Desde que se fue”, also written by the Julca Brothers, has reached the number one position in spins at radio stations in Puerto Rico and Top 10 on the Latin Pop Airplay Chart in the United States.
The Julca Brothers have also written and produced the hit song “Amor de Película” for the Nickelodeon series “Grachi” were it has reached more than two million views on YouTube, played in over 82 countries and was also performed at Nickelodeon’s “Kid Choice Awards 2012”. Recently, in the hit show “La Voz Kids” (The Voice Kids) finale, aired on Telemundo, the Julca Brothers were featured as the producers of Paulina Rubio. On the show they were presented as mentors of the final two contestants on Team Paulina in their studio. The finale of the show beat out Telemundo’s rating that night as the highest rated show for the night. As mentioned, they are currently producing Paulina Rubio’s upcoming album.
This is just the beginning for the Julca Brothers. With their determination and innovations, it’s certain that bigger projects and achievements are on the way.
