Katakomb were formed in 2010 by André Laos Rebel Rebel, Red Bull Music Academy, DJ under is own name, several remixes, Hugo Welther  and Erik Berntsson musician who has been part of the local music scene in Gothenburg for a long time 
 
They were the winners of Best Unsigned on Manifestgalan Same year as their debut EP was released without any PR involvedThey successfully did shows at the festival Knarrholmen in Gothenburg, Debaser Slussen in Stockholm and Debaser Malm 
 
Short after that, they decided to take a break and continued with their other music projects  
Working on their other projects between recordings is something that has made them even stronger as a trio  
In 2012 they decided to countinue as Katakomb and now their debut album GIANT is here, produced and recorded by themself
