CUBA IS JAPAN是一支概念性音乐的乐队，他们写的曲子都是一种探索性的音乐，探知这个世界上深不可测的美丽事物，像他们的前辈一样在这个领域探索着。没有边界的定义，永远在开发新大陆。 
CUBA IS JAPAN当下的创作灵感源于北极探险家Sir John Franklin在1846-1851年遇到的灾难（译者注：歌曲the ballad of lady jane franklin[简·富兰克林女士的歌谣]中人物正是探险家的妻子，也是第一个被授予皇家地理学会勋章的人）。 
CUBA IS JAPAN要感谢制作人KRAMER（也是Galaxie 500 与 Low 两支乐队的制作人）帮助下发行的乐队处女LP，并且在下半年演出中将会发行限定版EP《Malaysia/Taiwan/China Tour EP》
 
CUBA IS JAPAN are a conceptual group who write music to explore the immeasurable depth of beauty in this world like nearly all explorers before us have. Overshadowing limits and wandering places never before known. CUBA IS JAPAN are currently writing music inspired by the Franklin Arctic disaster of 1846-1851. CUBA IS JAPAN are grateful to announce their debut LP has been produced by the sublime American producer KRAMER (Galaxie 500 & Low among others) and will be released later this year. Limited edition Malaysia/Taiwan/China Tour EPs available at shows.
