he success of the eco-huqin series created by Yuen Shi-chun, Research and Development Officer (Musical Instruments) of the HKCO, has been endorsed by experts in many parts of the world. The HKCO's Bravura Strings Huqin Quartet, made up of Zhang Chongxue, Han Jingna, Zhou Yi and He Wei, was founded as a practical example of how the eco-huqin series can perform with consistently high standards and excellent timbre. For this chamber concert, they have chosen melodic pieces as a demonstration of the fine sounds of the modern huqin.
