Nola Fam formally known as Nola Boyz all born and raised in New Orleans, L.A (Downtown) Q and Mani the first two original members who started the group in 2007 first met in high school (Fredrick A. Douglass). Both members make all of the beats and production behind Nola Fam, also Q is a Bounce DJ locally in New Orleans. All members of the Hip-Hop/Rap group (DJ Q, Mani, and J-Smoke) started off young in the inner city, all grew up with each other and experienced Katrina without evacuating, and later found each other in the city of New Orleans while facing Gentrification. 
 
In 2011 Nola Fam Opened up for Mannie Fresh, Juvenile, and Mystikal, also met Snoop Dogg. Recently Joined New Orleans Youth Tutoring and Enrichment Program.Symposium featuring Dani Kartel, Mannie Fresh, Lucky Lou & Major, Nola, Fam, and Ace'Lo. 
 
This Crew Nola Fam is unique, versatile, and very open minded. Due to the New Orleans bounce scene where it is now more gay, and bi artist apart of it, this is one of the only heterosexual Hip-Hop group who is not against it, and also adapt to any type or crowd of people.
