The group was founded by Olivier Debard, jérome Simonian and Antoine Pinet in 2011 in Valence. 
 
In 2012, DEAD HORSE ONE put out their first release, a five tracks Ep named "Heavenly choir of jet engines".  
 
American label ‘Custom Made Music’ will be realising our song "Raven" as part of their Fall Sampler. The sampler will be limited to 2000 copies and distributed across America. It is also distributed to radio stations, reviewers, and labels across America. As well as featuring serveral up and coming psychedelic/shoegaze bands it will also have contributions from David J (Bauhaus) and Peter Holmström (Dandy Warhols).
