Jova was born & raised in Macedonia. After finishing her studies she relocated to the UK and enrolled at the music school " Vocaltech" in London. 
Her first album "Hourglass Diary" was released on iTunes & cdbaby.com. 
Jova's first recordings earned critical acclaim from Garageband.com (before it got bought by My Space) when her song "Here and Gone" was voted acoustic track of the week & was awarded 4 times Best female Vocals. "Here & Gone" is also a favourite with David Knophler-founder of the world famous Dire Straits. 
 
The song "Home" was licensed for the short film "Home Grown" and "Be Happy" was featured on the Billboard Magazine's quarterly compilation CD.
