Kristen Key started playing guitar as a teenager. It was then she wrote her first songs and even fronted her first band. Soon after she met Kevin Finkelmeier who was the drummer for a popular Cincinnati band and the two joined forces. They spent long hours writing songs and perfecting their sound. The first song they wrote together was "Without You." It wasn't long before Kristen Key was one of the prominent names in Cincinnati music. With radio play from Cincinnati's Q102 and 94.9 The Sound, in addition to opening for bands such as Colbie Caillet, Yellowcard, Goldfinger, Vanessa Carlton, Sara Barrielles, and more, Kristen is branching out now to a national audience. Recently her music has caught the ear of Producer John Feldmann (The Used, Story Of The Year, Cute is What We Aim For, Atreyu) so she is hoping for an album and tour in the very near future. Keep your eyes and ears open!
