Welcome to Brendan MacFarlanes website. This is where you can find out about what’s happening with Brendan now and what’s going to be happening in the future. Brendan MacFarlane was born on the 25th September 1997 in Perth, Scotland where he still lives with his family.
Brendan is an accomplished singer/songwriter, composer and musician. He has co-written the songs for his first album with his father, George and his uncle Bizzy. He has composed the music for some of the tracks along with George, he also plays guitar on a number of the songs. They are in the studio at the moment recording this first, original album, which is heavily influenced by gospel, country and bluegrass.
Brendans first YouTube account amassed a large, world wide following with his covers of ‘ I Got A Woman’, ‘Lost On The River’, ‘Home To Me’, ‘Precious Lord’, ‘Jesus Remembered Me’, ‘I’m Going Home’ and ‘No One’, taking his viewing figures to over a million. Brendan took down his original YouTube page while working on his album but fans kept reposting the videos. So, eventually Brendan opened another YouTube page to promote the video for his first original song, ‘Money Won’t’ which is now pulling back the fans to his page.
Brendan knows the value of social networking sites and now has Facebook, Twitter and MySpace accounts for his fans to follow him on.
