Born Naquia Natosha Scott, aka Naquia in Florence, South Carolina and raised in the tiny township of Cheraw, served as the rearing site for a young lady destined for superstardom. Singing since the tender age of two, Naquia dazzled church audiences weekly as a youth with her one of a kind style that pairs unyielding vocal power and incredible range with flawless harmonies. Reputed for her prodigy music exploits made Naquia a local celebrity of sorts and a highly in demand singer throughout the state. So in demand, Naquia was aggressively recruited to be a part of South Carolina’s version of Destiny’s Child, a four member all girl group Unique. After traveling the region extensively honing her indelible vocal and performance capabilities at countless open mics and various artist showcases, Naquia left the group to pursue a solo career. While music is definitely her first love, the trained pianist and flutist also found times as a teen to star in basketball, track, gymnastics, softball, take ballet and tap dance lessons and be a key member on a nationally ranked high school marching band.
A true quadruple threat, Naquia is an accomplished singer, rapper, songwriter, and dancer who has worked with and opened concerts for numerous multi-platinum selling artists and producers to include, Young Joc, Jim Jones, Playa Circle, Gorilla Zoe, Webbie, 112, Wingo of Jagged Edge, Marques Houston, Bad Boy producer Tomcat and beat master extraordinaire Bolo, of T-Pain fame. 
With the release of her much anticipated debut singles entitled “To Get It Back” and “Roller Coaster Love” totally annihilating the clubs and internet nationwide, it won’t be long before this southern bell who loves to cook and eat collard greens with apple cider vinegar becomes the new standard for music excellence.
