Hardworking, Passionate, Driven. The three words that mold together to describe the powerhouse metal act known as "AS SHADOWS COLLAPSE!" Hardworking describes the bands work both on and off the stage. The bands ability to whip any crowd into a frenzy has been proved time and time again because the band is so good at having fun while also keeping an amazing level of intensity, and at the same time, transfering all of that energy into the audience. As Shadows Collapse works tirelessly off stage as well, constantly promoting and bringing their music to new ears both through the internet, and good ol fashion street teaming. Passion, can be heard both though any song on the cd, or any song they play live. The band knows that music is an art form, and puts just as much time and effort into writing the songs, as they do making them entertaining for the live audience. Driven is probably the most descriptive word about this band. Their drive to make AS SHADOWS COLLAPSE a known name in the music industry is unwavering, and has been proven by a long list of impressive accomplishments. 
It was all started by three brothers who united a passion with their unique talents in metal.There were many unsuccessful attempts to find dedicated members (including two vocalists and a guitarist). Matt, Joe, and Dusty Sherman finally found a match to their own creative output when Travis Box and Brandon Fletcher joined ranks for the pursuit of stardom. Their new lineup consisted of Travis on vocals, Brandon on bass, Matt on drums, and Dusty and Joe on guitar. The band now had a line-up with every member sharing that unwavering drive and passion it takes to make a successfull act. Showing they have what it takes, even while working full time jobs, As Shadows Collapse has toured their way across several states, most of the time driving nonstop, and sleeping in a van. The band has also placed 6th, and 4th, in the project independent competition two years running. The competition is out of 300 of the nations finest, and determined purely on fan votes. The band also won the "Head Bang for the Highway" contest which allowed them to open up the 2012 Rockstar Energy Drinks Mayhem Festival in St. Louis, opening for Slipknot, Slayer, and As I Lay Dying just to name a few. The band has also proven their marketability, with an impressive list of song and CD sales, and an impressive number of youtube and facebook hits. The band has shown they will go to any measure to ensure a career in metal music. With their high-voltage energy on stage and hard work off stage, their unwavering drive to make their name heard by everyone will never weaken.
