Robots With Rayguns formed in 2008 by Lucas Patrick Smith. Originally a side project to the Industrial pop outfit, 'Gravemachine', RWR served as the lighter upbeat outlet, focused on making synth heavy electronic pop tracks with melody and style at the forefront. In 2010, Robots With Rayguns' first album, 'Electro Isn't Dead', premiered as a free download via Binary Records, lead by the first single 'Sugarbaby'. Since then, Robots With Rayguns has released many remixes, a few free singles, and in 2012, the sophmore album 'RWR', was released digitally via Kiez Beats records and showed Lucas working alongside talented guest vocalists and a great improvement in production quality. RWR has since produced and co-produced with asrtists such as Nyoka Ny-D, Pasha, Keith Masters, and Frankmusik, and is gearing up to release an ambitious new album, which will feature many new guest collaborators. Look for 'Fresh As It Gets' this summer in physical and digital release via Robots With Rayguns' own imprint, Fresh Ketch Records.
