John Walker, frontman in legendary British Death metal band "CANCER" with albums like "Death Shall Rise", "To The Gory End" and " The Sins Of Mankind", created this European band "LIQUID GRAVEYARD" in late 2006, along with Raquel Walker and Adrian de Buitléar (ex-MOURNING BELOVETH, Ireland). Playing a style ranging between Avantgarde death metal, alternative and progressive rock, this new group is a giant step forward in John Walker's writing since CANCER's "Black Faith" and "Spirit In Flames" albums were released.
In 2008, the band recorded the first and only demo so far "Criministers" with Mark O'Connell on drums.
In June 2009 the band signed to the Italian label MY KINGDOM MUSIC to release "On Evil Days", their debut album on 12th Oct 2009, which got up to more than 30 excellent international press reviews (check out blogs uploaded on myspace), several interviews and radio programs, as well as two compilation albums on MY KINGDOM MUSIC.
After some gigs and festivals throughout 2009/10, the band signs to the English record label RISING RECORDS in June 2010 to release the second full length album "The Fifth Time I Died", out on 28th March 2011, which has already got statements like "The Fifth Time I Died" is a pearl worth discovering that will warmly get to your metallic heart.- FFM ROCK-GERMANY.
On 2010, The band also participates in a film's soundtrack "Witch Of The North" by writer and filmmaker F. Lobohem which will be released in late 2011. This year, whilst still working with Adrian de Buitléar's promotion company LUGGA MUSIC, the band also inks a deal with MPR promotions to book tours and festivals mainly in Europe.
In April 2011, LIQUID GRAVEYARD will appear on METAL HAMMER EUROPE, special RISING RECORDS issue with compilation album included, band photo and bio.
In September 2009 Mark O' Connell, former drummer in LIQUID GRAVEYARD, who recorded the "Ciministers" demo in 2008, tragically passed away. This was a terrible loss and no words can express our sorrow. Too young to die. There will always be a place for you in our hearts.
