师从著名管子教育家胡志厚教授，现任中央音乐学院教授、硕士生导师兼中国音乐学院客座教授，曾担任上海民族乐团、新加坡华乐团独奏家多年，先后与赵季平、张国勇、谭利华、叶聪、阎惠昌、顾冠仁、夏飞云、彭家鹏、张列、关迺忠、王甫建、刘沙、Brubeck、Jeremy Monteiro等海内外著名的音乐大师；及马林斯基交响乐团、北京交响乐团、青岛交响乐团、西安交响乐团、上海爱乐乐团、广州交响乐团、新加坡华乐团、澳门中乐团、台湾国立乐团、中央民族乐团、中国广播民族乐团、北京民族乐团、南京民族乐团、苏州民族乐团、上海民族乐团、广东民族乐团等海内外著名交响乐团华乐团合作，首演了多部管子作品及协奏曲，享誉海内外的华乐界。
曾作为首批为上海申请世博会的中国艺术家代表团成员，参加了德国汉诺威的世博会演出及德国和欧洲的巡演，赢得国内外媒体高度评价。2019年受中宣部邀请，参加了在俄罗斯马林斯基大剧院举办的“庆祝中俄建交七十周年音乐会”，俄国专业人士和媒体好评如潮。2022、2024年，他的学生分别在中国民族管弦乐协会主办的首届、第二届“国韵杯”和上海、呼和浩特等地举行的“白玉兰”“昭君杯”国际器乐大赛中获得包揽管子专业青年、少年一二三等奖等佳绩。多次受邀担任文旅部、民族管弦乐协会等国家和音乐学术团体举办的“文华奖”“国韵杯”等大赛担任评委。2022年 协同胡志厚教授共同主编了管子史上第一本管子考级丛书（由中国民族管弦协会出版）。他发明的快速转调管子分别获得了国家专利局的实用新型专利（2020.3）和发明专利（2023.12）。



Han Lei, a distinguished guanzi virtuoso and educator, studied under the renowned Professor Hu Zhihou, a master of guanzi pedagogy. Currently serving as Professor and Master's Supervisor at the Central Conservatory of Music while holding a concurrent Visiting Professorship at the China Conservatory of Music, he has forged an illustrious career spanning performance, education, and innovation. As former principal soloist with the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra and Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Han has collaborated with eminent conductors and composers including Zhao Jiping, Zhang Guoyong, Tan Lihua, Yeh Tsung, Yan Huichang, and international jazz legends Chris Brubeck and Jeremy Monteiro. His artistic partnerships extend to prestigious ensembles worldwide, such as the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Singapore Chinese Orchestra, China National Traditional Orchestra, and Taiwan National Chinese Orchestra, through which he has premiered numerous guanzi concertos and contemporary works, earning international acclaim in Chinese traditional music circles.
Han's global artistic contributions include representing China as a key member of the 2000 World Expo bid delegation in Hannover, Germany, followed by celebrated European tours. In 2019, he participated in the historic "70th Anniversary of Sino-Russian Diplomatic Relations" concert at St. Petersburg's Mariinsky Theatre under the invitation of the CPC Central Committee's Publicity Department, receiving exceptional praise from Russian critics. As an educator, his pedagogical excellence is evidenced by students consistently winning top honors at national competitions including the "Guoyun Cup" and international events such as the "Magnolia" and "Zhaojun Cup" instrumental competitions. Frequently invited as adjudicator for prestigious competitions like the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's "Wenhua Awards," Han co-authored with Professor Hu Zhihou the first graded examination series for guanzi in 2022, a milestone publication by the China Nationalities Orchestra Society. His groundbreaking contributions to instrument design include the patented Rapid-Modulation Guanzi system, recognized by the China National Intellectual Property Administration with both Utility Model (2020) and Invention Patents (2023), cementing his legacy as a pioneering figure in the evolution of traditional Chinese music.
