Playjerise are an independent acoustic band from the Blue Mountains in Sydney. 
 
After their debut albumCross The Linewas released in 2006, the band quickly became well known for their strong melodies and catchy acoustic songs. Not only didCross The Linereceive great reviews from other Aussie artists such as Missy Higgins and Lior - their singleSafe To Saybecame one of the most downloaded songs on the internet – bringing the band to a consistent number one ranking on Myspace Australia’s Music charts. 
 
The band returns in 2009 with their new albumBetter Lifewhich is an album that builds on their acoustic beginnings, but explores a new musical direction for the band. 
 
WhilstBetter Lifeis a well produced and polished album, it is an album that has been entirely produced from home – with most songs being recorded completely out of the boys’ home studio in the Blue Mountains. 
Playjerise will be touring the east coast of the country through April and May 2009.
