Masquerader is an established Malaysian Experimental Electro Brit, Space Rock band formed by Amen (vocalist), Shah (guitarist and vocalist), Malik (bassist), Rafiq (drummer). Their former band members, Haniff (guitarist ) and Daniel (keyboardist/synth) left the band shortly before the track by track recordings of the first EPs. Since then, the band decided to use sessionist to patch up the lineups.

What have made them stronger even till now is by holding on to this, "Either you do it with passion and drive your profession or do nothing at all".

Inspired by Kasabian famous track, Vlad The Impaler, Masquerader got its name. The band started out in 2010 in Ipoh after Amen and Shah went to the MTV World Stage Malaysia back in 2009 to watch their all time favourite band performing (Kasabian). Fueled by a mutual interest in rock music, they slowly began the built up, song writing and jamming together.

Throughout 2010's, after years of ups and downs with the earlier bands, OdieAudio and Psychedelic Lipstick, Masquerader has bloom in this industry by potraying their incredible music, great vibes and personality. They have been performing in several events such as Weekend at The Park, Ipoh Calling, Bittersweet Japan Calling and a few more.
