So says the arrestingly candid lead singer of The Hollowed, Jonathan Wolfe. Hailing from Los Angeles, the band was first a vision created by Jonathan Wolfe in 2008 while living on the East Coast. The songs Jonathan wrote in his living room were the tender genesis of a future legend. Thousands of miles later, Wolfe and his pack of musical desperados have matured into a blistering combination of bleeding-edge stadium guitars with moments of sweet, if kinetic, lyrical bliss. For a band that dwells in the fallout of the post hardcore movement, The Hollowed is as utterly devoted to what is real in life as it is optimistic about what life can be. They’ve shared bills with A Static Lullaby and All that Remains, and have recorded their debut record, The So Far From Home EP. Without a doubt, The Hollowed are leading the charge on a mission to bring back significance and truth in music.
