By the window I hear the breeze

Seasons shifting with endless ease

I long to soar where skies are free

To reach a place Ive yet to see

Through storms and rain Ive come to know

Life ebbs and flows with joy and woe

But my heart burns bright like morning skies

A shining glow that never dies

Who says the path is hard to trace

With steady steps Ill find my place

Though mountains rise and rivers run

Ill move like wind beneath the sun

This fleeting life though short it seems

Holds endless light eternal dreams

Each moment lived a hymn a gift

Through shadows deep my spirit lifts

I love this world its strength its grace

Its boundless skies its vast embrace

Though thorns may grow along the way

Ill spread my arms and seize the day

Not for others nor for fame

But for the fire that lights my name

Each fall Ive faced has made me whole

With love and hope I fuel my soul

No fear of past no dread of night

The dawn within will bring new light

Though winds may tear they cannot quell

The blazing flame I guard so well

This lifes a song and I will sing

A trace of warmth in everything
