They are hungry,

A plate of food, please.

They have no father, no mother,

Take care of them, if You please.

A little rice,

A little beans,

A piece of chicken,

And some noodles.

Today it's like this, but tomorrow, what will it be?

They dream of a better day,

A future where hunger goes away.

But until then, here they are,

With shining eyes, waiting for a solution.

A sip of water, a bread to share,

A just world to build, with care.

They ask for little, but deserve much more,

A warm embrace, and peace to restore.

Pastor Jesus gave them water to drink,

Pastor Jesus gave them clothes to wear,

Pastor Jesus made them smile with care,

They lay down and slept so well.

A school to learn,

A safe place to live.

A big dream to come true,

May love always guide them through.
